IMPORTANCE NOTICE

IDENTITY CARD

  • It is mandatory for every student to wear identity card inside the campus.

NO SMOKING

  • The entire college campus is declared as a non - smoking zone. Hence smoking is totally prohibited inside the college campus.

DRESS CODE

  • Students should wear the designated uniform.
  • Wearing T-shirts, banians, shorts, sleeveless shirts, shorts tops, leggins and any other type of tight fitting clothes are prohibited.

MOBILE PHONES

  • Keeping / using cell phone inside the campus is prohibited.
  • If any student is found using the cell phone, it will be confiscated and will not be returned till the completion of the course.

RAGGING - AN OFFENCE

  • Ragging is strictly prohibited. Ragging in any form, at any place or time, is a cognizable offence.
  • Extract of Tamil Nadu Govt. Gazette - Extra ordinary dt. 29.01.1997 (Bill. No.8 at 1997 Tamil Nadu Prohibited of Ragging Act).
  1. Ragging means display of noisy, disorderly conduct, doing any act which causes or is likely to cause psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or scheme or embarrassment to a student in any educational institution and includes:
    • (a) Teasing, abusing or playing practical jokes on or causing hurt to such student. 
    • (b) Asking the student to do any act or perform something which such student will not, in the ordinary course willingly act or perform.
  2. Ragging within or outside any educational institution is prohibited.
  3. Whoever directly or indirectly commits, participates, abets or propagates “Ragging” within or outside any educational institution, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall be liable to a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.

  4. Any student convicted of an offence under section 4 shall also be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution.

     PARENT - TEACHERS' MEET

  • The parent / guardian of every student must attend the Parent - Teacher Meet being conducted at the end of each semester and ascertain the performance of his / her wards.
  • For this purpose a Green Card is issued to all students that will contain the basic details of the student, his/her percentage of attendance, the marks scored in the internal exams and the photograph of the student and his/her parent/guardian. 
  • The person whose photograph is pasted in the green card shall alone attend the parent teachers meeting.
  • Under any condition no other person will be allowed to replace the parent/guardian.
